Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-05-03T09:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-05-03T09:24:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: N26E05
Active Region Number: 13663
Note Keyword:
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
FIL: Filament eruption
Morphology Keyword:
LS: Loop and Shock Candidate
Note: Faint CME with a double front (the later narrower front starting at 09:48) and with possible wider somewhat wider shock front. The source is the M4.4 class flare from AR 3663 (N26E05). The flare is associated with a minor eruption (faint ejecta seen in AIA 304 and 193, directed towards the NE from the active region).

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

Analysis based on the fit of all three consecutive fronts of this CME with both SOHO and STEREO coronagraphs. These are likely parameters of the shock of this CME. The CME seems to have deflected to the east of the flare/active region location (N26E05) but the ejecta is seen going more towards the east in AIA 304. |
